What are the amenities at Prairie Pines for?
Every space at Prairie Pines is there to help residents stay active, stay connected and feel at home. Our team takes care of meals, cleaning and laundry, so each day is free for the people and pastimes residents enjoy.
How do residents stay active?
The indoor pool is open to residents any time, day or night, and visiting family members are welcome to swim with them. It’s also the town’s public pool, so neighbors from Eads come in during community hours.
Down the hall, the workout room has an elliptical, an exercise bike, step platforms and resistance bands. Most days also include exercise or a group activity around 10 in the morning.
What is there to look forward to each week?
Bingo fills the afternoon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesdays, people from town come in for coffee hour with residents. Community members also lead sip-and-paint and soap-making sessions, and the soap is sold to fund more activities.
Church services are held here on Sunday afternoons, and every Broncos game is on the TV in the common area.
A week of activities at Prairie PinesWhere can residents slow down and get outside?
The garden courtyard has flower planters, and walking paths run through the grounds. Lavender and ornamental grasses line the front of the building, so a walk outside is always close by.
Indoors, the front room has a stone fireplace and comfortable chairs. The library is there for a good book and a quiet hour.

- 20 rooms, each with its own bathroom, heating and air-conditioning unit, mini fridge and kitchen sink
- Three meals a day from menus residents choose a week ahead, always with an alternative
- Housekeeping, with every bathroom cleaned daily
- Laundry on a set weekly schedule
